Windows ME vs. Windows 98

    Is either one definitely better than the other?

    Also, if someone was happy with '98, "upgraded" to ME and has constant problems, is it relatively simple to roll back to '98? If yes, and links to helpful resources in this regard?

    My personal preference is 98SE, but that's not to say that 98SE is better than ME. There are pro and cons to both. If you've already made the upgrade to ME and aren't having any major problems with it, I'd stick with it.

    Personally, if you have SE don't go to ME - especially don't pay for it. If you are buying, consider going to XP. It is better and will give you a little more future proofing.
