Hi. I have Win98SE in my computer. When Windows Media player starts, after a few secounds, everything freezes and I only have one option to hit reset button to restart computer. It just started to happen recently. It also crush when Real Player starts. I believe there is a conflict somewhere. I did check duplicated DLL files. But I did not fine anything. Can anyone help me?

Would suggest first running "System File Checker" to see if you have any corrupted or missing files. If you do, it will point them out one at a time. Just have your OS cd close by and replace them as they come up via the cd.

    Good Luck
