Windows Media Player eats up 100% cpu even when it is not playing anything

hey guys!!
windows media player 12 consumes a lot of cpu resource even when it is not playing anything and is minimized.

see below for a snapshot of "Process Explorer" and "wmplayer.exe" process properties"



After this, if i kill the thread consuming highest cpu then every thing goes back to normal (see below)





please tell me what to do....

it shows 100% usage in Task Manager
and about 30-40% in Process Explorer
sorry for not being clear

That's surely not at the same time. Both should show the exact same thing.
