After a recent HDD problem (now fixed), 5 "unknown" albums containing a selection of my music files have appeared in my Media player 9. When I try to delete/modify them I get a C00D11CD error - this is a generic error and I can't find any thing on the web that relates to this error when deleting albums/playlists.

All my original albums are functioning OK and can be modified and deleted as normal.

Does anybody know of a way I can remove the "unknown" albums through the registry or is it possible to uninstall Media Player 9? Reinstalling doesn't fix the problem.

I am running XP, SP1.

Help appreciated guys, I'm going to throw the thing out of the window soon!

Unfortunately I've been to both those pages and still completely stuck.

Does anybody know of a way of removing Media Player 9 and reverting back to an older version?
