I have windows 2000. My Window Media Player is series 9.
My player will not play any videos at all just says can't be found. If it does actually try to play any it freezes my whole system up & I have to turn off the computer to get back control. I can not open a website that has the Windows Media player on it either because it does the same thing.

I do not have it as my default player. I use MusicMatch.

    I did that.
I still can't use windows media player.
Since I downloaded hijack this my computer keeps like resetting now. I click on a icon & the screen goes blue & then I get the recovery screen & everything is turning back on. I also getting explorer errors now. The messdage just says explorer generated an error & will shut down.
