Windows Media Player

Much problem with Windows Media Player (6.4 or 7.1, does not matter) and this little file called Tapisrv.exe

Much clean-up done on computer of late including re-install of Windows and removal of 300 orphaned dlls---still - everything else works but videos and Tapisrv.exe

Perplexed, any ideas?

TAPISRV caused an exception 03H in module TSP3216L.TSP at 0177:010d40f1.
