Someone brought their computer over to have it looked at. They had W/95 upgraded to W/98 by someone else who thought they were doing him a favor. The upgrade put all kinds of files on there that he wanted us to take off and get his Megaphon working again.

When he clicked on the Megaphon, it gave an error that Windows Messaging (WM) needed to be installed. Well, this wasn't my project but when I was looking for his address book that he wanted to save, I found it in WM, go figure. The Megaphon was still giving us the errors eventhough WM was there.

The Problem.

I went to work while my dad worked on the puter. He got a copy of WM and installed it on the puter. Megaphon now works, but he lost all the addresses. I forgot to tell him where they were, he's old and I'm forgetful. Where does WM keep the address book? I tried .wab and .mdb searches with no luck.

Thanks, I'll try that. The puter went 'out the door' today with a satisfied customer. (car dealer ad) He kept trying to give dad money for straightening out his puter, eventhough 'we' lost his address book.
