Hiya, have Microsoft realeased a patch for these adverts:<br>


Also when will Messenger 5 be realised?

No patch available.

In order to get rid of them, disable the Messenger Service (NOT MSN Messenger) in Win NT/2000/XP, and uninstall WinPopup in Win 95,98, and ME.

Oh OK. I don't get them that often it doesn't matter too much. Who sends these ad's? How do they send them without Microsofts permission? Is the stuff the ad says true? Do you know when Windows Messenger 5 will be realeased?

They're advertising popups. Do you believe all ads you see?
Disable that Messenger service. It isn't needed at all, and it has no bearing on either Windows Messenger or MSN Messenger.

A firewall will block them as well. This exploit is using port 135.
