Help!
I need to either (a) superpose narration and music in a WINDOWS MOVIE MAKER project, so that my music plays in the background while I narrate OR (b) record the narration and music so I can later insert them into my project (but I don't know how to go about this either...except playing the music as I read the text, but the sound quality is not good). I'm using Windows XP.

If you record your narration using Movie Maker it will create .WMA audio file with your narration. You would want to do with the "Mute speakers" box checked so the .WMA file will only contain your voice. You could then use something like Audacity to mix your background sound track with the narration audio file. If Audacity doesn't work with .WMA files you would need to first convert it to a wave or mp3 file and then convert it back to .WMA after doing the mixing.
