    Hi ALL,

I have a funny problem, I select a file from my c drive a folder of files,

select move this file and another window opens up but does not allow me to

select to MOVE that file from the folder to the d drive.

It appears as if and is often the case that the window freezes up and a not responding

    message appears in task manager

The ONLY way to get the file to move now is to open up the d drive in another window and

drag it to the folder I want...

    Any ideas here??

Thanks in advance for any and all help

    Sincerely

    Tu

You can't move a file from one drive to another. It has to be copied and then you can delete the file on the source drive.

Try out xplorer² Lite (freeware). It's a replacement for Windows explorer and it's a dual pane explorer. You can have one drive in a window and the other drive in another window. It makes life easier.
