Well,
This is my first time coming to one of these sites. Normally I can figure everything out on my own. Obviously theres no luck this time. Anyways, I seem to be getting this extremely annoying error message and dont seem to know why its happening. But when I go to open certain programs, I get an annoying error message titled "Windows - No Disk" and it states "There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into drive." and gives me three options. These options are Cancel, Try Again, or Continue. What I have to do for it to go away is click on either of the three options about 30 to 40 times and then it goes away and loads the program up no problem. I chose to go to my task manager to get to the source of my error message. I right click on the error, then select go to process, and it appears to be 'csrss.exe' that is giving me the error message. From my understanding the file is pretty critical to windows. I feel I've been infected though, because everytime my Panda Antivirus completes an update it says I have vulnerabilities on my computer which then gives me a link to go to windows update for the solution. However, when i go to update my windows, there are no updates available for me. Not even through the custom install form. I was doing some research and I stumbled upon your page. I noticed everyone leaves copies of their HiJackThis logs, so I downloaded the program immediately. Heres my log and I hope one of you can help ASAP. Thank You.

I also forgot to mention that I'm running validated versions of Panda Titanium Anti-Virus and Webroot Spy Sweeper. All software firewalls are disabled considering my router serves as a hardware firewall. Its a Linksys Wireless-G Speedbooster Router. Please see if you can help with all the information I have provided. Thank You again.

What programs are getting this error?
Does it give a drive letter?
Is it possible that it is looking for a floppy to be in the drive?

i figured it out...lol. Some of my software was still registered to my old External Drive letter [J:] which was changed after I restored my computer to [F:]...Thank you very much.

A couple of ways to get around this. You can change the F: drive to J: (if that won't cause any other problems. A more complicated possibility is to search the registry for those programs having problems and change references to J: to F:.

yeah i took care of that earlier today when i replied. heres what i did.
> right click on my computer and then select the option manage
> then clicked on disk management, which lets me see all connected drives
> then just right click on the external drive and changed the drive letter to J:
and i also looked for patches on my vulnerabilities on google and havent been prompted from my panda antivirus since. i guess i wasnt kidding when i said that i can normally figure everything out myself. but, maybe you can helo me with this...i dont really like how programs add an option in the right click menu and extra buttons in toolbars to programs...would it be safe to remove all '03', '08', and '09' program entries on hijackthis? sorry it took so long on the reply. i just got home from work.
