I burned some files on a CD. AVI and DivX files. And the computer used to read them fine when I put them back in the CD-ROM and played or copied back to HDD.

I recently did a reformat on both PCs and installed all the same software back on the HDD. But when I put the CDs in any of the ROMs on either PC no files show up in the drive. One says that the CD may be corrupt or Windows does not recognize it. I dont understand. I dont have this problem with any other CDs, even ones that I have burned. Only ones with DivX or AVI.

When I try to manually open the drive in My Computer, it opens up fine. Doesnt say Please Insert Disk. Just doesnt show the file. I tried showing hidden files bo no go.

Does anybody know what may be the problem?

Have you got the MSBlast.Worm?

If you have the worm, you might not be able to view certain folders like WINNT, Program Files, etc..

How do I know if I have this? How can I remove it if I do? Could it be another worm or virus? How can see if I have any worms on my system?
