Does anyone know what the name of Windows Picture and Fax Viewer is in the Processes Tab of the Task List Manager?
The reason I ask is because sometimes at work the program will fail to launch because an instance of it is still running in the background. It doesn't show up in the applications Tab after I CTRL ALT DEL but I am pretty sure that it is in the processes secion (I just cannot find it).

Thanks in advance

Good question

It does not add anything to Processes when I launch it, but it may use the windows service host svchost.exe, but in XP you cannot tell what is running behind svchost.exe very easily.

You might be able to do some detective work with process explorer to find out. WP&FV uses a dll, so you might want to use DLL mode in PE, or what process if any is hosting "shimgvw.dll"

It is important to note that the Picture and Fax Viewer is an integral part of the Windows operating system rather than a stand-alone application.
