Hi Guys

I have a customer that's having issues with Google Drive (GD), and in particular duplicated files. So the scenario is that they have GD synced on one computer, and its shared out to three other desktops. The duplication started when one user cut and pasted the items into a folder on a backup drive, upon realizing, they copied the files back to the drive folder from the backup volume, resulting in multiple filenames called "filename.extension (1)"

We removed GD from all computers except one, and accessed these files only through local file shares, and it all seemed fine for months. However we are having some issues with resources on this main computer as we have had one or two duplicated files, and we see that the drive service has stopped on this main computer. We are backing up these files via Microsofts RichCopy but system resources are gone. Simply navigating folders takes a very long time. There's no malware, drive fragmentaion at 9%. But the CPU is old now. Its an intel core 2 6300 1.86Ghz cpu. Attached are some system task manager shots...

The client blames Google and want to move the files to Office 365 and Sharepoint. About 40Gb of data with the average word doc being 700 KB in size. I'm trying to suggest a proper file server but they don't really want this option.
