Hi, every time I take my laptop to school I have to wait for this screen to come up before I can connect to the internet:

The problem is that most of the time this screen takes up to an hour to show up automatically, so my question is, how can I access it directly without having to wait for it to pop up? Thanks.

Why would the school be using a server named weather.service.msn.com? That makes no sense to me!

Do you have a more up-to-date version of FAU Wireless Connectivity For Windows XP? If not I suggest you read through it. There are some hints about possible problems with security suites or old FAU wireless connections, etc. I don't like to turn people away, but the support for the wireless system may be in a better position to help than we are.

I'd also remove the weather gadget, in the unlikely case that it somehow is contributing to the problem.
