    Hello,
I am sure there is a really simple solution to this but I don't know how to solve it.
    I have Windows 98SE.
All of my windows are coming up on my monitor maximum size.
If I click on the button to get a smaller window, it hardly does anything but the button command does change to restore but the window still stays maximised. I don't know how this has happened, everything was fine yesterday.
    Can anyone please help me.
Step by step instructions would be appreciated as I am not too clever with my PC.

    Hi Cinders

When you have it on the "smaller window" go to the side of the screen, untill you get the curser with 2 arrows - click hold of it and pull it in to the size you want - you can do the same at the bottom or diagonally from the corner.
