Getting the admin error and have tried all fixes at MSKB. I am the admin and only account on this computer. This used to work fine I haven't changed any settings so I'm confused about it. Also Norton AV now has a corrupted LiveReg file. I uninstalled Norton and then reinstalled it... same error.

I've done online scans with Norton, HouseCall, and The Cleaner they have found nothing.

Only thing that looks really out of place in the reg is a HKLM\Software\Microsoft\'y~~x! folder containing the default key and e856f8fcadb1a630 with some binary data and some code in the value data.

Something else i just noticed is that the key corresponds exactly with the telnet key. Which was running tlntsvr.exe the other day until i disabled the services.

Computer is also sluggish and crashes to blank desktop then recovers.

The BHO (Browser help objects) with no name I'd remove.

Did you also put a checkmark next to every search and start page listed & choose "fix"?

    That may help.
