Windows update failing with 80072F78 & 80200024

    Hi Guys,

    Need some help here,

    Im trying to perform the February monthly windows update on the Win 7 . Windows update fetches the February month rollup patch. During the download & install its getting failed with error code 80072F78 & 80200024.

    2018-02 Security Monthly Quality Rollup for Windows 7 for x64 - based systems (KB4074598) 234.1 MB

    Tried the below troubleshooting, still getting failed.
    performed sfc sacnnow, netsh winsock, cleared software distribution folder, restarted the services, checked date n time, trusted sites etc

    Please advise.

    Do you have an antivirus app installed in that Windows 7 computer?
    Microsoft announced it will stop providing updates for Windows 7 if an antivirus app is not installed.

    Since we know nothing about your computer and how it's used and how well it's maintained, there may be several reasons for your issue.

    Thanks for your reply.

    Actually we dont have antivirus installed on that template. It is managed on the hypervisor level for the VDI.

    The template fetches the patch, during the downloading part it gets failed.
