windows vista copyright booting problem

    any body know how to fix this i dont have the setup disc. just says
    BROADCOM BASE CODE PXE-2.1 v1.1.0
    COPYRIGHT (C) 2000-2008 BROADCOM CORPORATION
    COPYRIGHT (C) 1997-2000 INTEL CORPORATION
    PXE-E61: MEDIA TEST FAILURE, CHECK CABLE
    PXE-M0F: EXITING BROADCOM PXE ROM.
    OPERATING SYSTEM NOT FOUND.

    ive tryed pressing F8 to go into safe mode but doesnt let me all i can press is F2.

    Can you please provide a little detail about your computer; do you have a laptop or a desktop? What is the make/model of your PC?

    (That error could be one of several things such as but not limited to:
    1.) Loose hard drive or IDE cable.
    2.) BIOS boot priority needing to be changed (BIOS could have the network card set as the boot device, among other possibilities)
