WIndows Vista Home Basic Activation

    Hi Techies !

    Here i put the most obvious post, sorry i didnt put enough time in searching. Can any one kinldy give me the activation keys or serials for windows vista Home Basic 2006.

    I'm using compaq 6510b model, Vista currently installed working for 5 days and asking for activaiton. Kindly help or show the thread.

    Buy a copy. Activation is over the internet and the key must be valid and unused.

    Welcome.

    It happened to me on an ACER. Having a Compaq 6510b model, the Operating system must be an Original Equipment. When the computer ask for activation, you must select "Activate by phone". The Activation Wizard will then provide you the Microsoft's phone number to call and a serie of activation numbers you must provide to Microsoft. Once you have achieved this, Microsoft will then provide you the activation numbers that must be entered in the blanks provided. That will activate Windows.
