Windows Vista To Go "Extinct" On 04/11/2017

    You can read about it here:

    Besides no longer receiving security updates, pretty much all browsers are dropping support for it.
    IE9 is too old and is no longer supported by many web sites.
    Chrome dropped support for it several months ago with the release of version 50.
    Firefox will be dropping support for it with the release of version 53.

    IMHO, Windows Vista should have died at birth in 2006. Microsoft's attempts at beefing up Windows security made it a royal pain to install and run lots of legitimate programs without getting all kinds of alerts and screens asking to confirm that I wanted to do something that might be unsafe.
