I recently had to replace my hard drive because it was failing. I just got the computer home yesterday and started reinstalling all my programs. When I tried to get online to get updates the computer restarted. It did the same thing when I tried again. When I hit the connect button it restarts without even dialing the number.

So I disabled the 'Automatic Restart' in the 'setup and recovery settings' of 'My Computer.'
After that I got the Blue screen message with the numbers '0X000008E' at the bottom.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Start > Run > eventvwr.msc > copy and paste some of the recent Errors [Red]

    Also ..

    Navigate to C:\windows\minidump
Zip some of the Recent minidumps and Attach Them here
