I have been trying to back up my data onto DVDs and I have tried using Nero9 and Roxio 10 and in each case the DVD burns fine, but each time I try to read it in Windows Explorer, although it lists all the data that is burned on the disk, it freezes and will not open any file type, or folder on the burned data dvd.. help!?!??!!:eek::confused:

If there is a "Firmware" update for that dvd drive, I would update the firmware .

If it is a store bought PC, Make and model of PC

If it is a custom built PC, Make and model of DVD drive.
