    Hiya

This is the Microsoft Windows XP Embedded with Service Pack 1 component update to address Windows XP Embedded with Service Pack 1 QFE Rollup (824704).

The QFE address a number of small issues with Windows XP Embedded with Service Pack 1, including missing file resources, missing registry resources, and missing dependencies that cause certain functionality to be missing or operate improperly. Consult the KB article above for specific information.

Update 9/19/03: Two issues with this QFE were discovered after its inital release, where applying this QFE along with Q328310 and Q814078 could cause you to lose some of the changes in the previous QFE's. Q824704 has been updated to correct these issues. See the Instructions section below for details on how to remove the earlier version of this QFE before applying the current version.

YOU MAY NOT PROVIDE THIS UPDATE OR THE LOCATION (URL) OF THIS UPDATE TO ANY THIRD PARTIES.

    System Requirements
Supported Operating Systems: Windows 2000, Windows Server 2003, Windows XP

Requires the English Version of Windows XP Embedded with Service Pack 1. See the Windows XP Embedded System Requirements for details
