Hello all experts here on TechSupportGuy I recently , well currently am facing an issue with windows not booting after I made the change from an older Micro AtX mobo to a Atx intel D915GAV motherboard. I have a 500W powersupply, with all the needed power for my XFX Geforce 8600 GT PCI-E 620 Mhz Video Card, 2.5 GHz Ram , Intel Pentium 4 3.4 Ghz CPU. 320GB WD HD, & Memorex Multi Format DvD, DVDR, DVDrw .. etc.. drive

I have installed every thing properly according to the guides with intel but when I start windows it gets to the intel screen for 2 maybe 3 seconds and gives me a message saying
"We apologize for the inconvenience, but Windows did not start successfully. A recent hardware or software change might have caused this.

If your computer stopped responding, restarted unexpectedly, or was automatically shut down to protect your files and folders, choose Last Known Good Configuration to revert to the most recent settings that worked.

If a previous startup attempt was interrupted due to a power failure or because the Power or Reset button was pressed, or if you aren't sure what caused the problem, choose Start Windows Normally.

    Safe Mode
    Safe Mode with Networking
    Safe Mode with Command Prompt

Last Known Good Configuration (your most recent settings that worked)

    Start Windows Normally

Use the up and down arrow keys to move the highlight to your choice.
    Seconds until Windows starts: 30"

does anyone have a clue as to what i need to do to get my system to run past the boot screen and allow me to proceed with windows normally .. none of the options work when i select them .. it just keeps repeating the same black screen with prompts. this is urgent please let me know what i can do .. the cpu , heatsink, ram, motherboard, and video card are brand new... and my xp on my drive is functional if i put it back on the micro atx mobo.. so i know all components are in working order .. it has to be something im not doing .. is their a way ... :(
