windows xp falling asleep

    hi, i have windows xp and it seems my computer falls asleep and it takes forever to get it back to the main screen. this is when it is on and just sitting for awhile. i heard thst windows xp does fall asleep and there is a way you can stop that by doing something to the computer. do you know how i can stop this?? thank you :confused:

    Hey angelina3838,

    click start>setting> control panel, double click power Options.

    click the hibernate tab, and make sure the enable hibernation box is not checked.

    Then on the power schemes tab make sure standy is set to never.
