Got a new computer for Christmas (woo-hoo) Has Windows XP home edition on it. My old computer had Win 98. Just wondering why the Windows Firewall won't stay on (recommended)When I start computer I have to click it on manually every time. Is there a way to set it so that it comes on every time I start the computer? Not a major problem but a minor inconvenience. Any help will be appreciated.

Hi there, personally i would download another firewall, and use that. Rather then the internal one on windows.

Some good free firewalls, include Zone Alarm, and Kerio. These are freely available, simply search for them on google.

If I can help any more, please don't hesitate to shout :)
