I recently reinstalled Windows XP. I kept the old windows folder after I gave the name Windows1 to the second installation, just to backup my old files (didn't want them to be overwritten by the second installation). My question is : is it safe to delete the first (old) windows folder after I reinstalled Windows in a different folder?

Thanks a lot for you help.

Are you Harry potter...Daniel Radcliffe? :)

It's completely ok to delete the the folder named windows1 coz you have reinstalled the program in another partition and your current windows doesn't use the windows1 folder to run the OS.
