Hey, well basically my computer mouse freezes up and when i type in anything (word, aim, xfire, etc) it kind of lags, when i type a it takes like 10 seconds for the a to appear. I do not think this is because of my mouse being crappy, or any knid of virus because ive ran pestpatrol and synmatec many times. My CPU usage is always low 5-10%. But yet even when i restart my computer after a few minutes of using it the same problem occurs my mouse freezes up, and when i type it starts to lag. Help please. Thanks
    Eric

Well, I noticed that too. Ended up being the Windows Defender Beta scanning. Even with me closing the program it still kept running. I had to go to Task Manger to end the process.

hmm it is possibly spyware i sergest you get a program like counter spy or hi jack this

save a log file and post it in just copy and past and some people will handel it lol coz im not a spyware expert

To download HJTsetup.exe To Download HijackThis go to the following: http://www.thespykiller.co.uk/forum/...tpmod;dl=item5
    Filename = 1137518044HJTsetup.exe
Save the file to your desktop.
Double click on the HJTsetup.exe icon on your desktop.
By default it will install to C:\Program Files\HijackThis.
Continue to click Next in the setup dialog boxes until you get to the Select Additional Tasks dialog.
Put a check by Create a desktop icon then click Next again.
Continue to follow the rest of the prompts from there.
At the final dialog box click Finish and it will launch Hijack This.
Click on the Do a system scan and save a log file button. It will scan and then ask you to save the log.
Click Save to save the log file and then the log will open in notepad.
At the top of the Notepad HJT log screen, hit Edit then Select All then click Edit and then click Copy doing that copies the text to the clipboard, you won't see it yet....
Open a TechSupportGuy forum Reply window under Internet & Networking in Security for this thread, to have ready to paste the Hijackthis log into. Click once to place the typing cursor in the reply window.
At the top of your TSG/browser window, hit Edit then Paste
You should see your copied Hijackthis log appear in the reply space....then, submit the reply and copy and paste the link in the address bar back to the original thread you were in.
DO NOT have Hijack This fix anything yet. Most of what it finds will be harmless or even required.

Not everyone can read the log...administrators and moderators can read the log and tell you what steps to take...

ez25,there is no such thing as a HJT expert but just people that think they are. Some are better than others but no person is an expert.lol. The only thing all humans can get 100% correct is death, period !

I did not see anything but I will get a security expert to get some more suggestions.

My machine was so slow booting up I ended up formatting the machine and now it runs like a dream again :)

Well I also had experienced a slow down, even with closing down processes. I ended up formatting my machine and works like a charm now. :)
