I just set up a two pc, via hub, Windows XP, Windows 98, network.

I used the Windows XP Network Wizard on both PCs. Everything worked fine. I enabled file sharing and Internet sharing. (XP is the 'server')

However, the next day I turned on the win98 machine and fired up IE. It loaded the homepage but when i tried to goto ANY other site, it would fail to find the site.

Curious, I rebooted machines a bit, then I tried again. This time IE wouldn't goto any site.

I had a hunch and entered in an IP address. It worked!!!

SO DNS service is not working on my XP machine. I tried the network setup wizard once more on both machines but it didn't fix anything. Everything was working FINE....

    Any ideas?
