Windows XP/Linux dual boot

    I want to know how I should go about creating a dual boot so I can test out a few Linux distributions while still having the option to use Windows XP. Is it a different process for different distros? I have my hard drive all set up with a partition ready and waiting for LInux.

    Any help would be much appreciated.
