I hope someone here can help me.... A while back I set up a webcam and a fileserver on my pc. This has been working very well until recently. Now for some reason, when some of my friends try to access a file on my pc thru IE, they are told that the page they are looking for does not exist. EVen if i change the port number that is used, the same error occurs for them.. Funny thing is that, when i test the fileserver and webcam on my own computer, it works very well with no problems at all.

could it be that somehow my ports are being blocked over the internet? Any help or suggestion will be appreciated.

    thanks

Do you have a Firewall or Router in the mix.

I use Norton Internet Security as my firewall. But that did not pose any problems the first time i setup the webcam and fileserver.

So could it be something else?
