windows xp pro installation

    Hello alls.
    I install windows XP pro. During procees An error pops up : Problem in
    I386\asm..Look at the directories I see asm 1000,5100,6000,7000.
    Would you tell me what wrong with it.What should I do to fix problem.

    if it is a genuine disk try cleaning it

    Sounds like the error that burned CD's come up with. If so the only fix is a genuine copy.
