I have an OEM version of Windows XP Professional installed onto my computer. I seemed to have misplaced the Serial. Is there anyway to check tin serial in the computer??

Be aware that the reported serial may not be your actual serial, if the OEM version has never been reloaded and was preinstalled though.

OEM pre-installs use a "golden key" serial that is used to do a master install. The real serial should be on a sticker on the PC (COA) in that case.

But is the OEM version was installed off an OEM disk, not as a pre-installed version the reported serial will be correct.
