Hey everyone, how come when I start windows, I receive my welcome screen? I've turned off the logon screen in the user accounts option of the control panel. The "Use Welcome Screen" option is not checked off, so I have no idea why I receive the welcome screen. Thanks for reading.

So it's asking you to pick a profile?

If so, and you don't want it to, click on Start/Run.

Type "control userpasswords2" without the quotes.

A user profile dialogue should come up. Uncheck "Users must enter a password" and when you click ok, select the username and password of the profile you would like to start with.
