    Hi,

When I turn on my computer, I get to the Windows XP user account screen and all the text is in a Symbol format. I sign in and All the text under the icons, the start menu, the text in some windows is also in Symbol format. I do not understand how this happened. I do not know how to change it because I can't navigate around to try and fix it because all the text is in symbol form and I do not know where i am. Please help me!! Thanks!!!

Hard to say what happened, but I suspect that one of the system fonts has gone missing. Wihout being able to navigate, you better just do a repair installation unless you can navigate System Restore well enough to give it a try.
