Hi Mrsmooths, and welcome to TSG.

Exactly what happens from when you first turn on the computer? Does anything ever show up on the monitor?

When did this pc last start up and boot to the desktop?
Will it start in safe mode - tap F8 as the pc is starting up?

What is the SNID number on your eMachines desktop?
What is the Windows XP version (Home Edition, Professional, Media Center Edition) on its C-O-A sticker?
When it stopped working 8 days ago, what exactly did it do?

Check inside that all cables are connected correctly.
Remove and re-connect hard drive cables - remove all ram sticks and re-connect them.
    Try starting the pc again.

You appear to have an eMachines W3503 Desktop PC which originally came with Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005.
I'm not a hardware diagnostic expert, and I'm not there to examine it, so I can't advise you what the problem is.
You have 15 years of personal data in it that you haven't backed up and don't have at least 1 copy of?

The fact that you got an Emachines PC to work for 15 years is amazing in and of itself!

You may be able to find a used motherboard on eBay, or elsewhere. Where did your replacement power supply come from? Are you certain it is good?

PS - Please use punctuation. It makes things much easier to read!

I got from Amazon and im sure it works i did put my old one back in and it does the same thing. Is there a way to test your power supply? I was told that you can not put another motherboard in
