here it goes i put a new soyo hyper threading motherboard in and a 2ghz chip. Used my old hard drives and cd roms all that good stuff. Cranked it all on started right up. went to bios set everything and went to run windows nope wont load windows from my old hard drives no big deal i said i backed everything up. So I put oin my windows cd and start the windows setup. Hit enter and it say somethin to the nature of cant find a harddrive. Well there hooked up everything is runnin i can hear em. When i start my somp i reads em. I dont understand what is wrong. I even tried a spare that has been formatted still nothing. So im thinking maybe the windows cd is bad. Just wonderin what else it could possibly be. Oh ya, yes checked the jumper settings.
THanks for the help and if any one has a spare windows xp cd ill buy it i have my code just need a cd.Thanks
Joe
