When I start my computer I get a message stating that there may have been a power failure that caused Windows to improperly shut down. It then asks me to select one of 4 options to restart Windows. Safe Mode, Safe Mode with Networking, Safe Mode with Command Prompt and to start Windows Normally. No matter what I select it just goes back to that same screen over and over. It'll show the Windows XP logo and the progress bar, then a blue screen flashes that's too quick for me to read.

I also have the Windows XP CD but my computer isn't giving me the option to restart from the disk. Any suggestions?

When you restart the computer with the Win XP disc, press F8 or F12 to get to the boot menu and be sure to boot from the CD. You can try to repair windows that way but it is a crapshoot, and if you don't know what you are doing it is a pain...
