    Is it possible for me to establish a conection with a Mac comp and a Vaio WIndows XP?

    I don't understand i think the problem is on my friends mac computer. How do they set their computer to connect with mine without problem?

    Like was said, "Use a router for the connection" You will not have that much trouble if you are trying to use remote connection that might work but if you are going to try to troubleshoot the MAC you would be better off going over there and working on the MAC in person.
