Hi, I've been having trouble w/ my computer.. Again. Everytime I get on it I get Explorer errors and Blue Screens like half the time, it also freezes at least once a day if I use it.
I did have a trojan, but I beleive I got rid of it, I used housecall.trendmicro. I also had trouble getting the scann disk and the defrag to run threw without pressing "alt, ctrl, delete" and stopping Eeckcrux, and either Rnathchk or Rnapp. That's about all the info. I can give you, hope you can help me, Please!

First try scandisk and defrag in safe mode..Reboot and start tapping the f8 key immediately until a black option screen appears. Then select safe mode.

Something else that I would do is to download and install Ad-aware 6.0.181 and Spybot - Search & Destroy 1.2.0. Once you do that, run them both and delete the spyware that they find.

The links to download them from and the instructions on how to use them are posted in my website in the spyware article at the bottom of the list. You might want to print off the article to refer to.

I have the Ad-aware thing, and I tried running Defrag in safe mode, it said there were errors, so i ran scann disk in safe mode then defrage again and it worked find. I'm not totally sure if it's working ok yet, I've only been on less than 5 mins. I'll run the Ad-aware thing though.

Be sure to run the webupdate first to secure the current reference file update ... it is imperative that you run Ad-Aware with the most recent reference file loaded.

I'm assuming you have build 181 ... it will be displayed at the bottom right of the start screen when you launch A-A.
