I've been using AVG, Security Task Manager, Spybot S&D, and Trend Micro X-Clean.

Windupdates.e is a downloading virus that brings in other trojans/malware into your system.
I've cleaned up much of it's mess, re-enabled task manager. Removed a lot of the problems it's brought into my pc, and so far it seems subdued but I cannot remove the virus itself. Even though it says I have.

When I run Security Task Manager it says there is a .dll infecting the system. qOIxyaaa.dll
in my system32 folder, but it is not there.

And when I run X-clean it notifies me through Windows Defender of the virus... i remove all...
and then every time i scan again it's back. So i'm really at my wit's end.

Any help would be much appreciated. Now possibly it is gone, but my pc is still acting slow so I believe it's not. Thx, josh (y)

    Hi, Welcome to TSG!!

    • Save HJTInstall.exe to your desktop.
    • Doubleclick on the HJTInstall.exe icon on your desktop.
    • By default it will install to C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis .
    • Click on Install.
    • It will create a HijackThis icon on the desktop.
    • Once installed, it will launch Hijackthis.
    • Click on the Do a system scan and save a logfile button. It will scan and the log should open in notepad.
    • Click on "Edit > Select All" then click on "Edit > Copy" to copy the entire contents of the log.
    • Come back here to this thread and Paste the log in your next reply.
    • DO NOT have Hijackthis fix anything yet. Most of what it finds will be harmless or even required.

Here it is and thanks for your help. Also, my system seems to do weird things. While i'm playing an online game, every once in a while it switches my weapons all on its own, i press nothing and it does it by itself. And also while watching DVD's sometimes it starts going in Rewind by itself. Maybe i'm botted or someting, which would be weird because i use Trend Micro RUBotted as well. Thx again

Close all applications and browser windows before you click "fix checked".

I don't see anything malware or virus related.
