    It all started with......
I was installing Windows Updates, became impatient and canceled the process before it completed.

Now when I attempt to log onto Windows XP I get the error message that WinLogon.exe is missing odbc32.dll and msgina.dll. I tried using the recovery console, using the expand comand like it said on the MS website, but it kept returning the message "specified file or folder not found" or "access denied". So, I attempted to re-install the application, another option on the MS website, but when I get to the licensing page the F8 key does not work, page up and down work, and the "esc" key works, but the F8 key does nothing.

Any help you could give me would be most appreciated.

Thanks Sexy, I'm at work right now but will try this as soon as I get home. I'll let you know how it turns out.

    Thanks again,
