WinMX Help

    Hey I have WinMx on WinXp Pro and my WinMx connection keeps getting reset automatically after every few minutes and the queue system is gone and also I cannot start a transfer a upload to anyone from me even manually. It tries to connect but eventually dies out. Does anybody know the solution??? Please help. I have cable modem at home for my internet conn.
    Your help is greatly appreciated.

    try it without the firewall, if you are running one, and see what happens.

    NO...I am not behind a router, I dont think. Also I heard recently from other WinMX users that the WinMX downloads and uploads have slowed down a lot. Is that true you know?

    Also is there a way to find out, if its just me having slow connection or winmx itself is slow. I am using cable modem by the way.

    AS far as WinMX 3.x , I got download speeds of 150.
