ok so I now have audio and video playing out. The problem is a friend of mine is using the same program but he has a little thing on the bottom right of his program that lets him access to all these video recording settings and what not. It's called the remote control or something. Even if someone sends me the program it won't come up on mine. It's Hauppauge WinTv2000 I believe. Please someone help.

I have the WinTV capture card. I have the cable cord hooked up to it. And with the program he sent me I can see the Television and everything it's just for some reason on his down on the bottom right he has a little button that brings up something called the remote I believe that he can move around and lets him change the compression and what not and lets you record video, mine doesn't. Any ideas?
