    How do I rest the IE6. top tool bars in internet explorer?
    The regular setting will not do anything to revert this strange change.

    Open IE.
    View/toolbars/customize, click on "reset" and close the window.

    That should bring you back to the default settings.

    I had done that with no luck.

    Anything in the registry that may have changed?

    I have had a lot of hompage hijacking and have change the registry for all that &)*(.....

    Beginning to learn lots since those viruses.

    You left that part out! Lol.

    What virus(es) did you stumble into, and what "strange changes" are you seeing?

    Keebs welcome. Motherboard is trying to be helpful.

    I'm not a forum moderator here; however, I'd like to offer a bit of advice...

    a) sarcasm is not appreciated. Assuming you have expertise, may I suggest you define some type of substantive answer or suggestion to the recipient's question;

    b) don't insult those helping others;

    c) don't reply with ambigiuous statements that are grossly unhelpful.

    Seven, I'll apologize for keebs; can you tell us a bit more please? A hijack log would be very useful.

    Thanks,

    G.
