Hi there,

I have recently purchased a Sky Broadband router and modem with a downstream of 40mb and an upstream of 10mb. On the downstairs computer which is directly connected to it I get the full connection. However on my upstairs computer which is connected via an Ethernet adapter (Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller) I am getting a conenction of 0.35mb downstream and 2 upstream, the story is the same for wireless connection (Qualcomm Atheros AR9285 Wireless Network Adapter).

When I connect the upstairs computer via wire which is connected to the router I get full connection.

Any help on this annoying matter would be greatly appriciated

if you put a pc near - 3-6ft away from the router connect by wireless and also make sure no other PC is connected to the network

what performance do you get via wireless now
