Wireless Connection error

    I am getting the message, "wireless network radio disabled" The Broadcom adapter gives the error message, "the radio on your 802.11 adapter is still disabled. Use the harware radio control switch to enable it.

    The make/model of the computer would be a big help here.

    If this is a laptop, look on the side of the unit, there's frequently a small slide switch to disable the wireless. Some other laptops have a function key sequence to disable the wireless.
