wireless connection

    we are trying to get our laptop to connect to my brother in laws wireless router next door how will i go about connecting to this with out using wires

    Same way you'd connect to it wirelessly if you were there - choose his access point and enter a key if required to connect to it. That's assuming you'll be able to get a decent connection - depends on distance and walls and stuff that may be in the way.

    In addition to Awatson's directions,if you are having a problem connecting:
    Try changing the wireless channel on the router.1,6,11

    Also,you may need to disable any software firewalls that may be running so they will not block your access,and then make the necessary access permissions on the f/w's
