Wireless drops, will not reconect

    I leave my laptop downloading stuff over night I get up in the morning and its lost the wireless connection, with the bubble, click here to reconnect. which it repairs, prety quick. if it happens durring the day it reconects OK or never drops out. Its set to Automatic.
    Any one now whats ocurring, is it power surge for instance?

    check all your power management settings.. might be something in there that is dropping your wireless.

    also check all settings on the network connection for your wireless.. could be something in there..

    Most laptops have a setting where if you push the screen down then certain things are to stop to save power. To change these settings right click the Desktop and select Properties. Then click on the Screen Saver tab. Then click Power. Edit your settings from there.

    Does the laptop have Vista or XP?
